Flax Seed = Dietary Fiber = Radiant Skin

Dietary fiber is necessary to keep the body flowing, regular & healthy… and flax seed has a ton of it!

If we have learned anything so far, we know that a healthy inside means a healthy outside. Simply put, to have radiant skin, consume as much dietary fiber as your body needs! How much does your body need? Here’s a little rhyme to help you remember.

How often do you poo?

Anywhere between 3X per day to 3X per week is in the normal range

so how you feel depends on you!

The Dietary Fiber in Flax Seed

Flax seeds contain 29% carbohydrates but since an unbelievable 95% of it is dietary fiber, it technically is a low carb food! Just 1 tablespoons of flax seeds provide about 3 grams of fiber.

We’d like to share a really important health strategy with you. We recommend eating one heaping tablespoon of “germinated” flax seeds (soaked for 24 hours). Notice we did NOT say GROUND flax seed. What’s so wrong with ground flax seed?

The Problem with Ground Flax Seed

The natural food marketplace is awash with flax fiber and ground flax seed, contained in everything from bread to dog treats. This folly (ground flax seed) accelerates every year in spite of the documentation that even rats and other rodents, who eat EVERYTHING, cannot chew flax seeds well enough to reap any benefit from them. This information on the shortcoming of ground flax seed is not new, but been available to the public for over 20 years. Their inclusion in so many foods, ground or in full, we believe, are an exploitation of the buying public. It causes us to wonder about the intelligence and/or integrity of the manufacturers & marketers these products.

BUT! The dietary fiber from soaked flax seed can be a life changer. It is the way it was meant to be consumed!

The Benefits of Germinated Flax Seed

Flax seed has one of the highest dietary fiber contents of any food. it varies between 22% to 26%. This is twice the percentage of high fiber beans. A half ounce of dry whole flax seed provides between 20% and 25% of your daily fiber needs. The sad fact is, this amount of dietary fiber is more than what most people consume in an entire day! If you’re consuming the SAD diet (standard American diet) and include germinated flax seed daily, it will probably more than double your present dietary fiber intake. You could spend hundreds of dollars a month on supplements and not achieve the radiant skin and health that you would from a small amount of soaked flax seeds daily.

This alternative is quite ordinary, inexpensive and simple. Many people with elimination problems have their health and enjoyment of life returned to them and healed by including soaked flax seeds in their diets daily. This little known remedy has worked for many people that have consulted health practitioners of all descriptions, and tried a broad variety of pharmaceutical and natural cures to no avail. The fiber in flax seed is resistant to chewing, grinding and digestion until it is germinated. Soaked flax seeds are well-absorbed and act as a mild natural “broom” in the colon.

Flax Seeds Are Inexpensive

Soaked Flax Seeds cost pennies a day. At $2.75/lb and 32 servings/lb, this equals about 8.5 cents per serving (based on 1 heaping Tablespoon (0.5oz). This is the most inexpensive way to give your body both soluble and insoluble fiber, omega-3 fatty acids, and lignans. Lignans have been linked to many health benefits and seem to offer a substantial reduction to the occurrence of breast cancer, as well as reduce the risk of breast cancer spreading, if it does occur. Next to water, which helps with regularity, flax seeds are the most affordable!

How To Germinate Flax Seeds:

Add 1 heaping tablespoon of Whole Flax Seeds to approximately 2.5 fl.oz. pure water. Cover for 24 hours. Room temperature or refrigerate is fine.

Prepare the mixture immediately after consuming, so tomorrow’s portion will be ready for the next day. The total prep time is under 2 minutes and it costs practically nothing but will result in such value! Enjoy increased energy, vitality, longevity.

Soaked flax seeds work great in fruit smoothies. The gelatinous texture isn’t noticeable in the smoothie.

Don’t put your body through costly and invasive colonics, or use expensive, often harsh herbal or chemical laxatives. Get the body regularity it’s begging for and you’ll also achieve radiant skin and health overall. Flax seed does equal dietary fiber which then equals radiant skin! Considering all the other health benefits it provides, it just makes sense.

Flax Seed Oil as Alternative

There are literally hundreds of studies on the benefits of flax seed oil. This essential fatty acid has helped many people who have a history of consuming trans fatty acids (TFA). TFAs include hydrogenated and partially hydrogenated vegetable oils used in frying, processed foods, and margarine. Nearly all of us have had too much of TFAs. When you don’t have the ideal omega 3 to 6 ratio, consuming flax seeds will offset the negative effects of TFA consumption.
